Accessibility Renovations:
Renovating to provide accessibility is often highly specialized work that
involves detailed planning and consultation with much consideration given
to the client’s current and future needs. While examples of accessibility
renovations are as varied as the needs of our clients, some of the more
common examples of our work include:

* Installing roll-in or walk in showers
* Removing/replacing bathtubs
* Doorway/hallway widening (to accommodate wheelchairs/walkers)
* Grab bar and handrail installation
* Wheelchair ramp and threshold ramp construction
* Customized kitchens
* Room additions, ground floor bathrooms
* Wheelchair lifts/residential elevators/harness lifts
Consultation and Design Service
Certainly one of the most important aspects of any remodeling project is
the initial consultation and design – this is especially true of
accessibility renovations. Renovations for Life has on staff a certified
age in place specialist and an experienced design professional. Often
consultation between our staff, the client and the client’s medical
professionals that achieve desired result.
Renovations for Children
We at Renovations for Life are especially gratified to have completed
several projects for small children with severe physical challenges. While
the principles of universal design do not change for such projects, the
specific design, products and applications can be very different. We look
forward to our continued service of children in need.
General Remodeling:
A number of our clients have recommended our services to others who desire general remodeling services. We are pleased to provide general remodeling services, and our commitment to integrity and professionalism extends to all of our projects.
